How to Get Your Fridge Holiday Ready

Today is #NationalCleanOutYourRefrigeratorDay! To help you prepare your fridge to be filled with holiday treats, Thanksgiving leftovers, and potentially snooped on by nosy guests, we’re sharing a few tips below.

  1. Take everything out of your fridge including food that is still good and food that is questionable
    • Throw out expired food, leftovers that are way past their good-to-eat date, and fruits and veggies that are no longer useable
  2. Pull out drawers and removable shelves and wash them with warm water and dish soap
  3. For stubborn stains or parts that can’t be removed, spray KIDS ‘N’ PETS Instant All-Purpose Stain and Odor Remover and let it sit for a few minutes while the enzymes break down odors and stains
    • By using KIDS ‘N’ PETS, you won’t have to worry about unhealthy chemicals mixing with your food!
  4. Wipe away stains and unidentifiable, sticky messes to make your fridge look and smell like new
  5. Wipe off bottles and storage containers before organizing them in your fridge
    • To make it easy to know when leftovers should be tossed, label them with the date they were made
